This concert focuses on Electro-acoustic
music that was written in response to the Holocaust, by American,
German, and Israeli composers. All of the pieces on the program were
created by electronic means and are meant to be played through
speakers. Each piece will be discussed, explaining the
artistic devices used by the composers of these works, and the
aesthetic conceptions that guided them.
