The core of this concert is I Never Saw Another Butterfly, a
collection of poems by children of Terezin concentration camp. All the
pieces on the program set poems from this collection to music, exhibiting different
artistic interpretations to the same texts. The concert features works by Lori Laitman, Ellwood Derr, Srul Irving Glick, and Arie
Shapira, with performances by Keith Kelly (saxophones), Alexander Duke (cello), Ashley Oakley (piano), and Lindsay Stillwell
(voice).
